This allows sensitive devices, people or even data to be protected from their influence.<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic fields can be generated by magnets or permanent magnets made of ferromagnetic materials such as iron, nickel or cobalt. The resulting magnetic field is a static magnetic field.<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic fields can also be generated by electromagnets. When a current flows through a coil or conductor, a magnetic field is always generated at the same time. If the current is direct current (DC), a static magnetic field is generated. As soon as alternating current (AC) is involved, we speak of alternating magnetic fields.<\/p>\n<p>Magnetic shielding must always be specifically adapted and designed to the existing requirements. The strength and frequency of the magnetic field play a decisive role here.
